My son gave me his Saitek X 52 with the disc that came with it it is as good as new. When I use the disc to install the drivers I get an error and I can't get some of the butons to work, or rather In the configuration screen they do but not when I go into options.I have done a search to download up to date ones, but all of the sites want to scan my computer tell me how many drivers need updating, then want me to pay for what they call a free service. (I know they have to get there money somewhere)Can anyone help and give me an idea where I can download these drivers. For what is worth, i have an X52 too, even with the up to date drivers some of the buttons don't work, like the pinky switch and the I(information) button on the throttle. I find a way to make it work tho, you need to go on the calibrating tab of your x52 and let it open when you play, and all your buttons will work.(i'm sorry, it's in french, but i think you can still see where to go on your settings options)I know that's not a great solution, but that's the only way i find to make it all work ¯(ツ)/¯. Hi guysI have very recently installed ED, VA and HCS ASTRA. I have loaded the VA profiles from the HCS pack into VA. Then for the last two days i have been waiting impatiently for my X52 (note that it's not the X52 Pro) to arrive in the post.

It arrived today and i'm stuck at work researching how to make it all work when i get home. I am desperate to play, so to ease me into the setup i'm about to embark on, I have a few questions please:Q1: i know i need to load a bindings file into ED to get its controls to match up with both the X52 and the VA keyboard defaults. As described here for my buddy hippo's Thrustmaster: ( ). But the question is, is there a similar file for the X52 (non-pro) like the Thrustmaster one that Rega provided to Hippo in that forum post? If so, can i please have a copy of the latest?Q2: does anyone know if the problems described here ( ) are fixed in the latest X52 file?Q3: if no such simple solution exists (i.e. One file i can just load into ED's bindings directory and solve world hunger) then i'm not 100% sure what the solution offered by Gangrel (in the link in Q2 above) involves. Does he mean just go into ED and change the bindings manually to match the table he posted?Q4: any other general advice for someone about to plug in an X52 for the first time?!cheers for any help you can provide!thanksMike.

Hey mike and welcome to the forum:-)okey ill do my best to answer your questions:-)Q1 Iv had a look around in are packs and sadly we don't have an non pro X52, not sure if anyone on the forum can provide you one here.Q2 I have an x52 pro myself, iv not had any problems with newest binds that come with the pack. But the normal x 52 has a different layout so that's part of the problemQ3 In the post the Gangrel provides, yes you will need to change the bindings manually using the table he posted:-)Q4 Have a go using it in the Training first, Once you feel ready then you can go out in the Deep space! That table is up to date.as it stands., but if Fronter/Elite Dangerous gets more key options required, then we will have to expand what you need to do yourself.
